Romans 12:13
More important than any of the things we do here, is what God does among us. Here He enters our lives, so often burdened with sin and cares, through His Word of pardon and peace. God speaks His Covenant love in Christ into lives subjected to voices that daily attempt to draw us in so many directions.
Each Lord’s Day, God calls us into His presence, renews and restores us in our covenant relationship with Himself, and fills us with praise. God then speaks His Word through the Holy Scriptures and Sacraments, which reveal Christ when they are read and faithfully proclaimed and administered among us. In His Word we find His will, His truth, and His love for us. When we gather together each Lord’s Day, God speaks to us from that Word and blesses us and sends us back into the world spiritually strengthened and blessed.
If you are seeking to grow in your relationship with God and with His people, there is room for you at Trinity. We hope that you will come and join us for Sunday worship, fellowship, and Sunday school.
Sunday School
We believe the knowledge of God’s Word to be of utmost importance for individuals and families. Children’s Sunday school classes, for all ages, are offered in order to assist and reinforce the instruction parents are giving their children at home. The Great Commission Publication Sunday School Curriculum is used by most classes.
Bible and topical studies are offered each week for adults. Our goal is that through the study of God’s word, we adults will be “adequately equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Mercy Ministries
We are committed, as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, to serve our church family, our neighbors and our community through ministry of both word and deed. At Trinity, we understand that we are saved by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Yet as members of the Bride of Christ (His Church) we are called to serve those in need. We are not saved through any act or acts of mercy which we perform, but are saved through the perfect work of mercy performed by Jesus Christ on our behalf. Yet, our desire to serve is a fruit born out of the love we have been given for the One who first loved us. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross of Calvary was the ultimate, eternal act of mercy.
Missions
We are called as Christians to go and "make disciples of all nations." We seek to honor that call at Trinity by supporting several missionary families through encouragement, prayer, and financial support. If you'd like to know more contact Linda at travelswithdash@gmail.com or visit our Missionaries Page.
